CA Foundation coaching for Class 11 and 12 students in Bangalore
You do not have to wait until after Class 12 to start preparing for CA Foundation. Our after-school batch is timed around school hours so you can prepare through Class 11 and 12, and sit the Foundation exam as soon as your boards are done.
- After-school timings: 4:30 pm on weekdays, 2:30 pm on weekends
- CA Foundation Accounts and Economics overlap directly with your Class 12 board subjects
- Register with ICAI now; appear for Foundation right after Class 12 results
- Small batches, all-CA faculty, same standard as the regular Foundation batch
CA Foundation and your Class 12 boards cover the same ground
For Commerce stream students especially, CA Foundation is not a separate burden on top of school. The four papers overlap significantly with what you are already studying in Class 11 and 12.
Accounting
CA Foundation Accounting covers journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, final accounts, and partnership accounts — the same topics as Class 11 and 12 Accountancy. Going deeper in one directly helps the other.
Business Laws
The Indian Contract Act, Sale of Goods Act, and related legislation in the CA Foundation syllabus overlap with Business Studies in Class 12. The concepts are approached differently, but familiarity helps.
Quantitative Aptitude
Business Mathematics and Statistics in CA Foundation draw from Class 11 Maths. If you are already studying Maths in school, you have a head start on a significant portion of this paper.
Business Economics
CA Foundation Business Economics covers demand and supply, market structures, and monetary policy — all of which appear in Class 12 Economics. Students preparing for one are effectively preparing for both.
Science and Arts stream students can also join. They may need slightly more time on Accounting and Economics, and we adjust for that in the batch.
Why Class 11 and 12 is the right time to start
Most students who wait until after Class 12 spend 3–4 months just settling into a new routine before starting to prepare seriously. Starting in Class 11 or 12 means that time is already behind you by the time your boards are done.
- No gap after Class 12: You can sit the Foundation exam at the very next available window after your boards, instead of starting preparation from scratch.
- Longer preparation time: CA Foundation typically needs 5 months of structured coaching. Starting in school gives you more time to go through the material without rushing.
- Board performance improves: Students report that going deeper into Accounts and Economics for CA Foundation makes the same subjects easier in boards.
- ICAI registration can happen now: Eligible from Class 10 onwards. The 4-month registration requirement before your exam is easily met if you register during Class 11.

CA Foundation for school students: common questions
Yes. ICAI allows students to register for CA Foundation after passing Class 10. You can register in Class 11 and use the time to prepare. You can only sit the actual exam after you pass Class 12 (or equivalent), so you will be well-prepared by the time you are eligible to appear.
You can appear for CA Foundation after passing Class 12. ICAI also requires you to have been registered with them for at least 4 months before the exam date. If you register in Class 11, that requirement is easily met by the time you finish your boards.
For Commerce stream students, the two reinforce each other. CA Foundation Accounting overlaps directly with Class 11 and 12 Accountancy. CA Foundation Economics covers much of Class 12 Economics. Quantitative Aptitude builds on Class 11 Maths. Most students find their board performance improves because CA Foundation goes deeper into the same subjects.
Pre-board periods and school exam weeks happen every year and we plan around them. Speak to us when you enquire and we will walk you through how other school students have managed their schedule. The Monday holiday and the weekend slot structure give you some flexibility.
Yes. CA Foundation is open to students from any stream after Class 12. Science and Arts stream students can join, though they may need a little extra time on the Accounting and Economics papers since those subjects are new to them. We adjust teaching pace based on the batch composition.
Yes. Same faculty, same study material, same teaching method. The only difference is the timing, which is structured for students who are in school during the day.
