Syllabus

What you study in CA Foundation

The new ICAI syllabus has 4 papers. Our coaching covers each paper in depth, with a focus on how concepts are tested in the actual exam, not just what the textbook says.

P1

Accounting

Fundamentals of financial accounting: journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, final accounts, and partnership accounts. One of the highest-scoring papers with the right coaching.

P2

Business Laws

Indian Contract Act, Sale of Goods Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, LLP Act, and more. Taught so the logic of the law becomes clear, not just memorised.

P3

Quantitative Aptitude

Three sections: Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Statistics. A paper many students fear, but one we make approachable through step-by-step problem-solving and regular practice.

P4

Business Economics

Demand and supply, market structures, monetary policy, and the Indian economy, applied to a business context. Conceptual and scoring with good preparation.

Papers 3 and 4 are objective (MCQ). Papers 1 and 2 are descriptive. Minimum 40% per paper and 50% aggregate required to clear.

Our Approach

How we prepare CA Foundation students in Bangalore

Most students are fresh out of Class 12 when they start CA Foundation. We take that transition seriously and build strong fundamentals from day one.

  • All-CA faculty: every teacher is a qualified Chartered Accountant who has cleared the same exams you are preparing for.
  • Small, capped batches: your doubts are heard and answered in class, not sent home to figure out alone.
  • Exam-writing technique: concepts and how to present answers, so descriptive papers score well.
  • Faculty handout notes: prepared in-house for every class, designed for conceptual clarity and quick revision before exams.
  • Regular testing: chapter tests after every topic, plus full-syllabus mock exams under exam conditions with detailed feedback.
  • Continuous mentoring: the same faculty team that teaches Foundation also handles Intermediate, so the relationship continues.
